Danimarka savcılığı, yerel bir petrol dağıtım şirketinin, Suriye’ye yakıt tedariki sağlayan Rus nakliyat şirketlerine uçak yakıtı sattığını tespit etti. Bu Rus nakliyat şirketlerinin Suriye’de Rus ordusuna ve hava kuvvetlerine yakıt tedarik ettiği biliniyor.
Çarşamba günü savcılık tarafından yayınlanan bildiride, ‘’söz konusu şirket, Rus yakıt kurumlarına 172 bin ton uçak yakıtı sattı.’’ ifadeleri kullanıldı. Savcılık bildirisinde, uçak yakıtlarının ilk olarak Akdeniz’e oradan da Suriye’nin Baniyas limanına nakledildiği belirtildi. 2015-2017 yılları arasında gerçekleşen sevkiyatların toplam değerinin yaklaşık 102 milyon dolar olduğu ifade ediliyor.
Danimarka Savcılığı, AB’nin Esad rejimine yönelik uyguladığı yaptırımlar doğrultusunda Suriye’ye yakıt ikmali gerçekleştiren Rus şirketler ile anlaşma yapmayı, AB yaptırımlarının ihlali olarak görüyor. Şirketin yargılanmasından sorumlu Başsavcı Per Fiig ‘’Danimarkalı şirketlerin başka bir ülkeye uygulanan AB yaptırımlarını yok sayması ciddiye alınması gereken bir durumdur.’’ dedi.
Şirketin önümüzdeki günlerde mahkemeye çıkarılması bekleniyor. Danimarka savcılığı açıklamasında şirketin adı geçmezken, Danimarka basını, şirketin Bunker Holding’in yan kuruluşu olan Dan-Bunkering olduğunu iddia ediyor.
Bunker Holding’in yan kuruluşu Dan-Bunkering, ShippingWatch’a yaptığı yazılı açıklamada savcılığın suçlamalarını reddederek, ‘’AB yaptırımlarına tabi olan şirketlere satış yapmadığımızdan eminiz.’’ ifadelerini kullandı. AB yaptırımları kapsamında uçak yakıtı ve yakıt katkı maddelerinin, Suriye rejimine veya Suriye’deki kişi, kurum ve kuruluşlara satışı, temini ve ihracatı yasaklanmıştı.
