Suriye’nin kuzeydoğusundaki petrol sahalarında faaliyet gösteren Amerikalı enerji şirketi Delta Crescent Energy, ikinci aşamaya geçerek elde ettiği petrolü çeşitli bölgelere satmaya ve yeni yatırımlara hazırlanıyor.
Syrian TV’ye konuşan kimliğinin açıklanmasını istemeyen bir kaynak, şirketin petrol çıkarma faaliyetlerini Haseke’de yer alan Rumeylan ve el-Cibsa’da sahalarında gerçekleştirdiğini aktardı. Deyrizor’daki çalışmalara ne zaman başlanacağı ise henüz bilinmiyor.
Al-Jazeera Oil Company’de çalışan ve Delta Energy Company ile çalışmalar yürüten bir mühendis, Amerikalı şirketin Deyrizor’da bulunan petrol sahalarındaki zarar ve hasarların giderilmesi ile birlikte faaliyeti alanını güneye doğru genişleteceğini söyledi.
Söz konusu mühendis, Delta Energy Company’nin bölgedeki faaliyetlerini bir İngiliz danışmanın yürüttüğünü, beraberindeki mühendislerle yürüttüğünü, petrol alanlarına giderek çalışmalara başlamak için neler gerektiğine karar verdiğini ama lojistik konusundaki eksiklikler sebebiyle Deyrizor sahasına dair bir zamanın belirlenmediğini belirtti.
Adını açıklamak istemeyen başka kaynak ise YPG/PKK’nın siyasi kanadı PYD’nin kurduğu Özerk Yönetim’in izniyle çalışan Al Jazeera Oil Company’nin Delta Energy Company ile çalışarak bölgedeki petrol yatırımlarını gerçekleştirdiğini söyledi. Petrol yatırımının ikinci aşaması olarak, kurulacak drenaj hatlarıyla birlikte Irak Bölgesel Kürt Yönetimi ve Suriye’nin kuzeybatısındaki Muhalif bölgelere petrol gönderileceğini ifade etti.
Şam Yönetimi altındaki bölgere petrol gönderilmesiyle alakalı olarak Amerika’nın önceden bunu engellediği ve Sezar Yasası’nın uygulamaya girmesiyle birlikte resmi olarak herhangi bir ticaretin önüne geçildiği belirtiliyor.
AFP muhabiri Delil Süleyman’ın yaptığı birkaç gün önceki paylaşımda, YPG/PKK’nın çatı oluşumu Suriye Demokratik Güçleri’nin (SDG) Delta Company ile petrol yatırımı üzerine bir anlaşma imzaladığı bildirildi.
Çeşitli kaynakların aktardıklarına göre SDG’ye bağlı milislerin Haseke ve Deyrizor’da bulunan petrol sahalarından çekildiği, bunların yerine ise Amerika’nın sınırlı sayıda eğittiği Petrol Sahaları Koruma Güçleri’nin (PSKG) yerleşti. Amerikan askerleri ve PSKG’nın müşterek üsleri, eğitimleri ve mali kaynakları mevcut. PSKG ayrıca SDG ile bağlantılı ve bölgesel güvenlik meselelerinde örgüt ile koordine halinde.
