Konsolos Kabbara, mafyaların Lübnan vatandaşlarından yüklü miktarda para alarak onları Avrupa’ya ulaştıracakları konusunda kandırdıklarını belirtti. Kabbara, Mafyaların aldıkları para karşılığında Lübnanlıları Avrupa’ya götürmek yerine Türkiye’nin Yunanistan ve Bulgaristan sınırında terk ettiklerini açıkladı.
Lübnanlıların iki ülke sınırında belgesiz bir şekilde bırakılmaları ile birlikte yasadışı giriş yapıldığı gerekçesiyle de Türkiye’de gözaltına alındıklarını söyledi.
Konsolos Kabbara, konsolosluk olarak sınırlı sayıda vatandaşın Lübnan’a dönebilmesinde yardım sağlayabildiklerini, gün geçtikçe daha fazla sayıda insanın mafyalar tarafından benzer şekilde mağdur edildiğini ifade etti.
