İranlı diplomat Belçika’da yargılanıyor

Belçika savcılar, Tahran’a muhalif İran Millî Direniş Konseyi’ne (İMD) 2018 yılında bombalı saldırı düzenleme planı yapmakla şüphelenilen Esedullah Esadi ve beraberindeki üç kişiyi yargılıyor. İran’ın Viyana Büyükelçiliği’nde müşavir olan Esedullah Asadi’nin davası Kasım 27’de görülecek. Fransa’nın aktardığına göre Esadi, Avrupa’nın güneyinden sorumlu istihbarat personeli. Kendisi aynı zamanda AB içerisinde terör suçuyla yargılanan ilk İranlılardan.

Esadi’ye yönelik suçlamaları reddeden Tahran, bu hamlenin İMD tarafından yapılan bir “sahte bayrak” operasyonu olduğunu söyledi. Belçikalı yetkilileri, kendi davasının İran ve komşu ülkelerde ortaya çıkmayan gruplar tarafından izlendiğini söyleyen Esadi, Belçika’nın olumsuz bir karar vermesi noktasında ne olacağının farkında olmadıklarını belirtti. Tutanaklarda yazılanlara göre Esadi’nin polise söylediğine göre İran, Irak, Yemen, Suriye ve Lübnan’daki silahlı grupların davadan çıkan sonuca bakacaklarını ifade etti. Hangi gruplardan bahsettiği sorulduğunda ise yorum yapmayı reddetti.

 

Esadi’nin bu açıklamasıyla ilgili olarak Belçika federal savcısı bu tür tehditlerin olabildiğini lakin her türlü güvenlik önlemenin alınacağını açıkladı. Esadi, polisle yaptığı 31 dakikalık görüşmesindeki açıklamalarının İran Büyükelçisi ile alakası olmadığını, kendi isteğine göre yaptığını söyledi. Esadi’nin avukatı ise Belçika’ya yönelik tehdit olmadığını, açıklamanın yanlış yorumlandığını belirtti.

Fransa, Belçika ve Alman istihbarat kurumlarının müşterek operasyonu ile İMD’nin mitinginden günler önce Esadi’nin saldırısı durduruldu. Almanya’daki tatili sırasında tutuklanan Esadi, Belçika’ya teslim edildi. Beraberindeki kişiler de 500 gr. TATP (aseton peroksit) patlayıcı maddesiyle yakalandılar. Fransa, bu saldırı girişiminin ardında İran İstihbarat Bakanlığı’nın olduğunu, diplomatın sınır dışı edildiğini, söz konusu istihbarat biriminin ve buna bağlı iki kişinin varlıklarının dondurulduğunu açıkladı.

 

İran istihbarat servisi geçmiş senelerde Kuzey Avrupa ülkelerinde ikamet eden muhalif isimlere yönelik Avrupa’da yaşayan İranlıları kullanarak suikast gerçekleştirme ve girişimlerinde bulunmaktan sorumlu tutuluyor.
