Sahip olduğu ilişki ağı sebebiyle Amerika’da üst düzey isimlerle görüşmeler gerçekleştirdi.
İran’da mahkum olan Lübnan asıllı Amerikalı iş insanı Nizar Zakka ve Suriye’deki mahkum Sam Goodwin’in serbest bırakılmasında rol oynayan İbrahim’e Cuma günü James W. Foley Mirası Vakfı tarafından, arabuluculuğu sebebiyle ödül verildi. 2018 yılında Lübnan’ın Fransa Büyükelçiliği tarafından kendisine Şeref Nişanı (Şövalye) takdim edilmişti.
