ISIS continues attacks in Afghanistan

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack that killed Afghan civilians and three Spanish tourists in Bamyan province in central Afghanistan.

ISIS killed six people and wounded seven others in an armed attack in Bamyan, Afghanistan, a religious centre of Buddhism. 

Four of the seven people were Norwegian, Australian, Lithuanian and Spanish tourists, while the Afghan who was guiding the tourist group in the area was also injured.

Earlier on Saturday, Taliban’s interim Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Mateen Qaniee said they had arrested seven suspects in connection with the attack, local media reported.

Explosion in Kandahar

At least one person was killed and three others wounded on Monday when a bomb exploded under a handcart in the southern city of Kandahar, a Taliban stronghold.

According to Taliban officials, the bomb planted in a handcart was detonated on the road between Kabul and Kandahar.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack that killed one civilian and wounded three others.  ISIS claimed in a statement that the target of the attack was Taliban members.
